Oracle Database Analyst/Admin

Provided streams replication solution for CORE Data Project replacing Wells Fargo existing shareplex environment. Built about 40 RAC Oracle Servers including 6 RAC on AIX, Linux environment and supported OLTP and ODS environment as well.

Responsibilities

• Installed and configure oracle 10g, 11g databases on Linux, AIX and Solaris based servers and applied the 10.2.0.4 and 11.1.0.7 patch set respectively on Test and Production environment, also applied Quarterly Patches and supported prod and Non Prod Databases.

• Upgrade existing 9.2.0.8, 10.1.0.5 databases to latest 10.2.0.4

• Performed SAN requirement analysis and configuration for the new RAC databases (Linux RHEL) to be built on IBM blade servers, Design and configure SAN, raw partition for OCR, Voting Disk, Oracle Home, ASM HOME and CRS HOME.

• Installed and implemented 2, 3 nodes cluster for Test and Production environment.

• Purge the data queue by using DBMS_packages available before re-sync the streams.

• Design schemas (Star, Snowflake) for dev and test databases using ErWin.
