Seeking a position in an international organization as a project manager. In such a position I’m hoping to further develop my analytical and strategic skills in design and building development, gain innovative hands-on experience to develop my career in the construction industry; but most of all to be able to rise above detail and think and act strategically, by promoting a constructive approach to functional building design.

Design Management to ensure Brookfield Multiplex responsibilities are met

Manage the design coordinators

Chair design meetings

Investigation and approval of design alternatives

Manage cost planning of design proposals

Review incoming and outgoing drawings and mark for distribution

Manage overall design team and coordination process

Ensuring adherence to design through constant and consistent design verification

Oversee and manage design changes and ensure incorporation into relevant documents

Ensuring ‘for construction’ drawings are issued in a timely manner in relation to site progress

Maintain updated register of shop drawings and site status to ensure design is always ahead of site works as required

Liaising with design coordinators in identifying problems and through team work, effectively finding a plausible, practical solution

Advocate that projects are built on team work, if errors occur, all must work together collectively to fix it. Moving towards one shared goal is key.

Emirates Park Hotel Towers, Dubai: Full coordination of two twin Hotel Towers of 80 stories from foundation and reinforcement to block work and finishes.
