Company computer room refreshes, then transitioned to leading IT projects for a North American

transportation company.

HP IT (Internal IT) Transition of EDS IT to HP IT

As part of the EDS to HP transition team led AMER region of the transition of data from EDS file

servers and EDS SharePoint to HP infrastructure. Proper identification of data owners and

coordinated scheduling of the owner’s data migration from legacy EDS data repositories to the HP

delivered salutation. Very high degree of satisfaction with continued access to the data across the

enterprise.

Global Project Manager EDS COE (EDS IT) 2005 2008

Global SMS – EDS Enterprise Management Framework

Managed the successful completion of the global deployment of the Client EDS Enterprise

Management Framework Services, this solution was based on 80 Microsoft System

Management Servers delivering software and updates to 100,000 PC’s in 45 countries. The

service was regionally turned to production starting with APAC, then AMER and finally

EMEA with no desktop issues. Engaged with the EDS capability both using the standards

and contributing when we found the offering capability standards did not support very

large global deployments. Became the service owner of the solution as it was taken to

production.

Desktop Encryption

Managed a controlled deployment of hard drive encryption and reporting to EDS Desktops

with manager level reporting on a mandatory requirement to encrypt desktop and laptop

hard disk drives.

Global Upgrade to Desktop Office Communicator

Managed the definition of requirements, and design of the upgrade to the Global Instant

Messaging environment in EDS.

Canadian Monitoring Tools and Automation 1999 2004

Transition Project Management

Transition Manager, Architecture, and steady state delivery. Transition of new customer systems to

EDS monitoring and management systems. Joined the Tools group as Subject matter expert for

Novell Servers and Microsoft Servers. Held multiple certifications, Master Novell Network Engineer,

Calgary EDS Office

Technical team lead for the Calgary EDS office, joined EDS as a subject matter expert on Novell

Server operating systems, delivering to various Calgary clients, including large and medium Oil and

Gas, Legal, and national Financial clients. Roles delivered to included; team lead, sales support,

vendor relationships, and delivering to EDS customers refresh and upgrade projects, office systems

refreshes.
