Test Engineer – Retail Domain

Project Area: Nordstrom POS-

Nordstrom is one of the leading fashion specialty retailers in US offering high quality apparel, shoes, cosmetics and accessories for women, men and children. Infosys involved in the system testing for POS registers of Nordstrom. This project involves the testing of the GlobalSTORE™ application the in Fujitsu POS registers. Validations include User Interface Validations, Arithmetic Validation, Database validations and Data Encryption and Tokenization Validations

I played the role of test engineer and held the following responsibilities,

Preparing Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Reports and Test Metrics.

Logging bugs in QC and monitoring status of the bugs till its closure.

Updating the status of test execution in QC

Performed Regression and Sanity Testing.

Daily Customer Interactions on the deliverables

Creating and Managing the project tasks in Microsoft Project

Mentoring the new members joining the team.

Creating Test Data based on the requirements.

Defect Prevention Anchor of the project.
