Kohler Changzhou - Greenfield Engine and Generator Facility
Apr. 2002 – Aug. 2004; Construction of a Power Systems campus consisting of a 90,000 Generator manufacturing building and a 130,000 sq. ft. Engine manufacturing building. Responsible for design oversight, contractor bid solicitation and negotiation, budget and schedule tracking and change management.
Kohler Hattiesburg - Engine Plant Expansion
Assisted project architect with budget reconciliation, contractor bidding and award and project budget adherence and change management. Expansion primarily consisted of additional utility capacity and material handling to double production output.
John Michael Kohler Art Center - HVAC Upgrade
June 2005 – Dec. 2005; Responsible for contractor bidding and award, budget adherence and oversight of value engineering opportunities. Daily interaction with project champion to assure that public spaces were not affected during renovation. Project completed on time and on budget with added ‘nice to have’ scope additions.
Kohler Russia - Site Selection search
Data collection of key cost factors (labor, utilities, etc.) and cost modeling. Onsite data collection and meet with local authorities collecting incentive data.
Kohler Shanghai - Shared Services Building fit out
Aug. 2007 – May 2008; Site selection and building due diligence, design oversight and budget development, contractor bidding, selection and negotiation, oversight of design refinement to meet customer’s needs and wants, managed scope additions and mentored on-site Construction Manager.
