Project Manager (2006 – 2008)
Directed more than 30 employees and contractors in 6 states (NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, and PA) and administered a budget of $16M. Primary Project Manager for all Network Design and Federal Mandate initiatives, managing all project aspects including Budget, Scope Statement, WBS, Risk Analysis, Execution, Closeout Documentation, and Sign Offs.
• Led complex Network Design projects that resulted in $6M in annual savings.
• Managed all Federal Mandate projects and successfully completed all projects on budget and on schedule in compliance with the FCC mandates.
• Partnered with IT, Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Finance and Customer Care as team leader which resulted in successful completion of over 40 projects in 2008.
RF Engineer – E911 (2005 – 2006)
Assigned point of contact for all E911 initiatives. Maintained database for E911 cellsite information and E911 change and control requests for a total of 2415 cellsites. Supervised collection of all field data and utilized software based tools to analyze said data.
• Evaluated weekly vendor requests for changes and assessed performance effects of changes resulting in zero system outages.
• Created an Access database to house all GSM cellsite information which automated addition of new sites and all system changes by RF Engineering and Field Operations equating in significant time savings and reduced errors by 60%.
• Prepared FCC documentation for required filings and assured filings were submitted on schedule which resulted in meeting all filing dates as part of the Federal Mandates team.
RF Systems Engineer (1998 – 2005)
Monitored performance of GSM and IS-136 network. Performed Field Testing and supported all engineering parameter changes. Supported all engineering projects including design, implementation and maintenance of In-Building Repeater Systems. Reported directly to upper management.
