Major Project: USB Sharing Over IP Network (USB/IP.)

The USB/IP Project aims to develop a general USB device sharing system over IP network. To share USB devices between computers with their full functionality, USB/IP encapsulates "USB I/O messages" into TCP/IP payloads and transmits them between computers.

Development Environment: C (compiled using GCC) on Ubuntu Linux 10.10.

Seminar: Multi Touch Screen Technology using Frustrated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR)

This paper describes a simple, inexpensive, and scalable technique for enabling high-resolution multi-touch sensing on rear-projected interactive surfaces based on frustrated total internal reflection. We review previous applications of this phenomenon to sensing, provide implementation details, discuss results from our initial prototype, and outline future directions.
