PROJECT WORK IN ENGINEERING

TITLE: “SOLAR AIR CONDITIONER”

Carried Out at: KVG COLLEGE, SULLIA.

Description: It works on the solar radiation and water as a refrigerant.

This system works using solar as the power source. The light energy from the sun is utilized and stored in a DC battery and the battery supplies the power to other components like blower, pump and thermoelectric chip. The various parts are fabricated using simple design and easily available materials to serve and fulfill the purpose of this project. The Solar powered air conditioning system was found satisfactorily cooling, heating and filtering the air. Because of the use of water as the refrigerant it is pollution free. The operating cost was greatly reduced since it uses solar energy as the power source.

PROJECT WORK IN M Tech

TITLE: “DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF SUGARCANE BAGASSE DRYER”

Carried Out at: SUGARCRUSHER, NELAMANE, SRIRANGAPATNA, MANDYA.

Description: It works on the principle of waste heat recovery system.

There is a lot of wastage in the flue gas i.e. the heat loss that was passing through the chimneys of the jaggery making unit. The present project work thought of using this flue gas drying of bagasse .In the addition the use of fire wood, coconut fronds or tyres was costlier and involved more labour force with lowered profitability. All these factors had impact on design of sugarcane bagasse dryer to come out with newer ways of solving these problems.

1. Have1 year industrial training experience in Co generation plant Department (50MW).

2. Worked with (BANNARI AMMAN SUGAR LIMITED)BASL, Mysore From July 2010 to July 2011 as Graduate Engineer Trainee.

3. Working in (SITSON INDIA PVT. LTD) at Thane, Maharashtra, From Aug 2011 as Project Engineer.
