Sheeting Operator

- Volunteered for 2008 / 2010 / 2011 Ariva Health and Safety Committee. As a member of these committees I have assisted in implementing many new safety procedures and programs. Revise current and write new SOP’s (standard operating procedures) for the best safe practice of all duties in the production facility. Revise current and write new JSA’s (job safety analysis) for risk assessment of all duties performed in the production facility. Work directly with safety manager to stay compliant with current OSHA standards. Work directly with safety manager and committee members on accident investigation per Ariva protocols. First Aid and CPR certified through Cintas. Hep B Vaccination through Concentra

-Produce precision cut sheets of paper to specific industry standards for sheet fed presses and maintain an accurate record of daily production. Also, as an operator I am responsible for quality audit reports per Ariva ISO standard.

- In 2004 I was part of a kaizen group that looked at ways to cut waste and increase productivity. As a group we have seen a 40 % improvement in waste reduction.

- Assist with all aspects of preventative maintenance, sheeter modification, and to perform any necessary repairs. This may include ordering needed parts and direct communication with the manufacturer of equipment.

- To assist in the training of new operators and retraining of current operators.

- From June, 1999 to November, 1999 I supervised a third shift to allow for training of our future second shift
