Project Description:

AIG has implemented Team Connect Legal Matter Management suite (a product of Mitratech) for its exclusive Legal Matter Management. Technically it’s a J2EE Web application deployed in a Web sphere Server. The project deals with developing and customizing a Legal Matter Management system for AIG Global Legal Compliance for administering legal matters across AIG worldwide.

DWH Refresh tool is an out of the box tool provided by Mitratech to synchronize TeamConnect source and target databases. It’s a shell script which runs a java tool to pull the recent changes in the source to push it to the DWH tables. Mitratech has customized the open source ETL tool Pentaho as the TeamConnect refresh tool. The project also involves developing interfaces to external systems and exchanging information to and fro.

Most Fortune 500 companies are using TeamConnect Legal Matter Management Suite to handle all its legal cases due to Security, Customization and User Friendly.

Roles & Responsibilities:

TeamConnect 2.5 Development Activities:

Developed complicated custom java blocks to display AIG specific financial calculations and other information using JAVA/J2EE, JSP, SERVLET and JAVA Script.

Implemented financial and non-financial business rules around invoices & matters.

Having strong knowledge in Team Connect Database & Data warehouse Structure.

Performing Unit test cases & Impact Analysis.

TeamConnect 3.2 Upgrade Activities:

Successfully upgrade from TeamConnect 2.5 to TeamConnect 3.2

Analyze, Design & Develop the new AIG requirements within the estimated time.

Had frequent interaction with client [AIG], to make sure that the development phase was on same page as expected.

Performing Unit test cases & Impact Analysis.

Production Support:

Checking for any errors in the System log files generated and if any, fixed it with quality and notify it across the team.

Monitoring the space levels in Application & Database Servers and if it exceeds 75% of total space clear it and notify across the team.

Monitor the regular refresh job in Production Database server.

Confirming all the external interfaces jobs ran successfully.

Deployment Activities:

Java & Xml work files are developed based on AIG Requirement specification document and uploaded into PVCS [Configuration Management Tool] for version control with labels.

Work files from PVCS are deployed in to Production during release.

Successfully upgrade SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 to R3 version from scratch.

Take initiative in solving production live critical issues in SAP Business Objects.
