INDUSTRIAL PROJECT DETAILS

1) Digital Pure Sine Wave Uninterruptible Power Supply with PFC

This Digital Pure Sine Wave Uninterruptible Power Supply is based on Digital Signal Controller from Microchip INC. It has a high power factor input using active power factor correction. The circuit can be used up to 3 KW.

TOOLS USED : ORCAD, MPLAB IDE

ROLE : Hardware and Firmware development & testing

2) Multi-output Compact Switch Mode Power Supply for LED Lighting System

The power supply is designed to use with LED lighting systems. It is designed as a flyback converter using an integrated switching power supply controller from Powerint. High power output is used for LED lamps and low power output is used for control circuits.

TOOLS USED : Orcad, PIExpert 8.0

ROLE : System design, PCB design & testing

3) Electronic Transformer with Embedded Timer Module

This machine is used for replacing magnetic transformers in Impulse Sealing Machines. It is used to heat the sealing filament and can supply high impulse power with wide input voltage range.

ROLE : Design & development of embedded controlling system for the machine.

4) Electronic Weighing Balance with Reduced Display Line Interface

The system is a high resolution digital weighing balance using delta sigma ADC from Texas Instruments INC. The display line interface is reduced from conventional 14 channels to 3 channels using serial communication.

TOOLS USED : ORCAD, MPLAB IDE, KEIL IDE

ROLE : Analysis and design of serial communication standards

5) Automatic Solar Power Controller with Smart Energy Measurement

Description:

Automatic solar power systems generates from Photo Voltaic Modules. The system constantly monitors energy production and consumption. Maximum Peak Power Tracking method is used for maximum power generation. The system is expected to be used for medium power alternate energy source for houses and small industries. With smart power measurement capabilities, this will save thousands in energy bills spend.

Role : Design & development of energy measurement system for the machine

6) Industrial Automation

Description:

Industrial automation is designed to address applications – ranging from programmable logic controllers and industrial computers to human machine interface and networking communication.
