Examples of Accomplishments:
1. Initiated manufacturing process change that decreased the down-time by increasing the efficiency of the fume abatement system. This had an impact on the bottom line.
2. Found ways to alter an existing FTIR method so that reproducible and accurate results could be obtained. The method was for quantification of hydrocarbons in compressed air.
3. Increased overall laboratory proficiency with XRF testing through training, reorganization of the work cell, and by creating qualification guidelines.
