OBJECTIVE: To obtain employment within the greater Houston area in which my skills and knowledge as a Machinist /Fabricator, can be enhanced and utilized.

QUALIFICATIONS

5 year machinist . 2year machinist apprenticeship. 6 months computer programming course. 3yr experience in CNC plasma cutting & Water jet cutting operations. Recently completed certifications in operation of new Messer, Multi head 40ft CNC table. I have and assosicate degree in business management, and 5 yrs experience sheet metal, and specialty metals fabrication. Certification in operation of all warehouse equipment such as: Forklifts, Overhead Hoists, Cranes and Powered pallet jacks.

EMPLOYMENT

2003-2008 CNC Operator, Sabel Steel (Baton Rouge, La) 40ft Messer CNC operator multi-head; Plasma, Oxyfuel, Arc writer. Parts cutter for general public. Cutting large sheets of 316 stainless and A-36 carbon steels, of various thicknesses into intricate parts, tools, and configurations within a quarter-inch of blue print calculations. Forklift operator, loading trucks with machined material cut by Plasma. Load I beams, Rebar, and metal plate, onto trucks for delivery to various job sites.

2000-2003 Manual Lathe/Water jet Operator, K-Tek (Prairieville, La.) Flange ring fabricator 2year manual lathe appertinceship 3 axis, 1year of CNC program operation.

3year water jet operator, Interperting blueprints, nesting parts and constructing

base plates and flanges from non-corrosive metals such as; Titanium, Nickel,

and Hastaloy to be used in the construction of Laser measuring devices for

under ground tanking system.

1999-2000 Press operator. Baton Rouge press, (Baton Rouge, La)

Operation and Maintenance of Goss Community press. Performed basic press

Operations such as: mixing ink, water distribution, monitoring impressions, and

general press maintenance and repair.

1997-2000 Asst Freight team Supervisor, The Home Depot (Baton Rouge, La)

Categorizing and entering inventory in computer database to as it arrives from distribution center. Check pallets for damaged or missing merchandise. Jet Distribute palletized Inventory from receiving dock to stockers and forklift ops on sales floor. Supervise a crew of five to seven stockers and two forklift operators in the stocking of shelves and presentation of merchandise on sales floor.
