Client : Noor Islamic Bank (Dubai)

Role : Senior Tester

NIB is a renowned private bank in Dubai which provides Internet enabled banking services to its customers.

The Product portal consists of two modules – front office and back office. The Front office module focuses on providing the various client services that a bank wishes to provide to its customers. The back office module enables the bank to setup and configure the access rights to be provided to their customers and end users of their customers.

The modules configured in the Portal for Noor Connect are Payments, Core Account Services, Trade Finance, Liquidity, Investments, Reports & Inquiries, Customer Services, File upload and Subscribe/Unsubscribe Reports.

The modules configured in the Portal for Noor Click are Relationship Summary, Fund Transfers, Bill payments, Service requests, Recharge and Top-ups, My messages and My settings.

Environment: J2EE, Oracle 8i, Quality Center, Windows XP.

Responsibilities:

• Gave training to new members in the team on manual testing.

• Delegated work to the new members reviewed their test cases and provided review comments for correction.

The product consists of modules such as Origination, Core, Collateral, Lending, Collect and Reports which allows the bankers to create the customers profile, link his assets and collateral and grant loans after several stages of approval and finally disburse to the customer.

Environment: Java, My SQL, Intellect Orbi-Solve, TOAD, Windows XP.

Responsibilities:

• Executed test cases for External and Internal interfaces based on BRD.

• Executed lending related UAT test cases.

• Performed functional testing, GUI, Regression Testing and sanity testing for Core, Collateral, Lending and Interface modules and reported defects whenever identified.

• Coordinated with the Technical Support Team and Subject Matter Experts for effectively solving problems.

• Used Orbisolve for bug tracking & Reporting.

4. PRESTO-Retail Cards Oct ’07 – May ‘08

Client : D&S Presto (Chile)

Intellect - Cards, was initially developed as credit card banking product, which provides all the functionality of a credit card.

This product includes credit card issuance, customer services, authorization, acquiring and statement generation modules. Further enhancements were done to support every form of card including the debit, pre-paid, private label, co-branded, affinity, corporate cards and family cards. Product was built in a way to connect operations across bank channels be it branches, POS, ATM, internet, kiosks & payment gateways.

Environment: Java, Oracle 8i, Quality Center, QTP 9.2, Putty, Windows XP.

Responsibilities:

• Prepared and Executed GUI Automation scripts.

• Performed functional testing, GUI, Regression Testing and Sanity Testing.
