Job Description

- Responsible for all Quality issues and

attending all Customer Quality Concerns.

- Responsible to lead, monitor and control

quality issues in incoming processes and

final stages.

- Respond to any customer concern within.

- Check the casting Defects & Marks.

- Ensure final inspection / auditing of all

products.

- Setting up of Control plans, testing aid,

Checklist for final inspection & in- process

inspection.

- Formulate & computerize all types of

document (format), inspection, layouts,

and checklist, control plan, for final

inspection and for in-process inspection.

- Responsible for preparation of Quality

Manual. Follow departmental procedures

and documentation to comply with ISO

14001.

- Plan and carry out in- Process and final

inspection.

- Systematically keep records of all QC

inspection, QCRs, material certificate &

other records.

- Co-ordinate production, purchasing,

engineering and dispatching functions on

quality matters.

- Proactively contribute to company wide

continuous improvement program.

- Collect and analyze the QC non-

compliance data & prepare the weekly &

monthly reports & submit to management

for review.

- Give support to metallurgy team.

Job Description

• Working as shift In charge,( HOT STRIP MILL)

• Ensure Smooth operation of the Rolling Mill to finishing mill

• Maintain good settings & conditions of guides and rolls throughout the mill

• Plan for profile of work roll,back up roll, vertical roll

• Plane to achieve the given production target within time.

• Plane for work roll change ,back up roll change, vertical roll change.

• Arrange defect list and coordinate with maintance team.

• Check availability of spare stands, guides, clamps, bolts etc

• Observe cleanliness and maintain high standards of safety in the Rolling Mill

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

• Assist Shift Manager in day to day operation and take in charge in their absence

• Control and Monitor the rolling process at each stand, control stock size and tension

free rolling

• Maintain stock size as per set up sheets

• Perform quality checks on finish products and ensure it meet the required standards

• Ensure the product is within required tolerance, size and quantity

• Maintain efficient operations and quantified productions by controlling losses and delays

• Conduct preparation and planning for future required sizes

• Ensure complete shift planning for pass change, box change or size change

• Plan for maintenance activities and coordinate with production shift in charge & support group to ensure necessary preparations
