Omnicell Inc. ****- Present

Revamped the library architecture for the entire Technical Documentation department from a function-based design to a task-based design. Trained two departments on the theory and structure of the new design. Wrote several manuals that demonstrated the strength of the new architecture which dramatically cut Operations and Service costs. Served as Creative Team Lead for a cross-functional group of writers and instructional designers on an Agile/scrum development project.

Palm Inc.

2006-2007

Coordinated with Engineering Marketing and Localization teams as the documentation Project Manager for Treo maintenance releases. Also updated the Treo 700P user library.

ConSentry Networks

2006

Designed and wrote the inaugural release and two subsequent releases of the LANShield Administration Guide. The guide gives concepts and procedures for a network security appliance and a Layer 3 security switch.

Cisco Systems 2004-2005 Wrote the Catalyst 4500 series online help system for the Cisco Network Assistant a low-end network management tool. The help was written in XML using Dreamweaver.

Extreme Networks

2005

Served as project lead and writer on a four-person team for the ExtremeWare 7.4 release. This massive 3800 page library included a command reference manual a software users guide and a consolidated hardware installation guide.

Extreme Networks

2004 Served as the sole writer on the ExtremeWare 7.2e and 7.3e releases. The 2000 page library also consisted of a command reference a software users guide and a consolidated hardware installation guide.

Cisco Systems

2002-2003

Wrote the Catalyst 3500 and Catalyst 2950 Command Reference manuals. Also wrote online help for the Cisco Management System. Wrote the Cisco IOS System Error Messages for the 12.3 mainline release and numerous train releases.
