To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing regarding my interest in working as a nurse practitioner. I graduated in May 14th 2011 with a Masters in Nursing from Prairie View A & M Graduate Nursing Program. I am flexible in working with Pediatrics, Gynecology or Adult patients. Furthermore, I am willing to work weekends, weekdays and evenings.
My professional employment includes three years of neurosurgery and rehabilitation at the number one cancer center in the United States. Being able to provide quality care to critical patients has sharpened my skills in assessment and treatment. My training includes clinical experience in Family Practice, Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Pediatrics. I was able to attain skills related to assess, diagnose and treat accurately within the target population. Working under the care of nurse practitioners and doctors at different sites provided me the experience of evaluating and treating patients based on effectiveness while still following standard protocol.
My certifications and awards I have received require an advanced level of knowledge and professional skills that will attribute to the nurse practitioner challenges. Instructors and preceptors have given me excellent evaluations on performance and character, and have much faith in that I will be an outstanding nurse practitioner. I will be an excellent asset to your company by increasing patient visits while following standards of Board of Nursing through my leadership, knowledge and professional skills.
Included in my resume are detailed descriptions of education and experiences I have attained over several years. I look forward in working with your company and gaining new insight and skills.
