Contract Deco Labels & Tags, 8/08 to 9/08 – Create customer proofs for the flexographic label making industry. Familiar with on Adobe Illustrator CS3 and the EskoArtwork plug-in called DeskPack.
McDonalds, 2/08 – Created restaurant exhibits for upcoming trade show for Fast Food Fortune 100 Company. Trade show will address all new systems, technologies, and franchise opportunities to investors.
Award/Vision Graphics, 6/07 to 1/08 – Created artwork for various office supply companies for United Stationers Office Supplies. Monitor and correct impressions & impositions from the Internet-driven customer proofing system.
Walgreens, 1/07 to 3/07 – Devised a system to created 572 Interactive locked forms for the Specialty Pharmacy using MS Word mail merge. The forms were to be used in 3 formats: static & active field
MS Word documents, and printable PDFs.
Motorola, 7/06 to 11/06 – Created User Interface screens and created graphics for Verizon in their Consumer Experience Design group. Used PhotoShop, Flash, Fireworks & InDesign to create these layouts. The layouts and animated graphics were uploaded and passed on to the programmers and project managers.
Motorola, 10/05 to 6/06 – Prepared business proposals using Microsoft Office Suite, Groove Network Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite for the Government and Enterprise Mobility System division.
• Copy edit changes during team review of proposals with MS Word using shortcut keys in real time.
• Read review of copy to ensure copy between specific sections of a RFP and Proposals are consistent.
VideoJet Technologies, 8/05 to 9/05 – Created illustrations from CAD drawings, edited copy and
imported art into FrameMaker documents to produce Operation Manuals.
• Created a system of taking digital photography to draw illustrations and demonstrate movement.
Daniel Woodhead Industries, 5/05 to 7/05 – Provided creative strategy as a Web Designer using
Flash MX, and PhotoShop. Built an Extranet to work within their Catalog Management System.
General Learning Communications, 2/05 to 4/05 – Edited text and created original illustrations for educational workbooks and healthcare brochures. Publishers: Holt, Rinehart, & Winston; & Harcourt
Grainger, 12/04 to 1/05 – Created industrial supply catalog pages from Product Developments’ selections using Quark Xpress and the content management software called Pindar. Under the Business Manager’s supervision copy was written and edited in Pindar from Tech Specs and pulled into Quark for page layout.
