- Senior System Architect
- Have worked to design and implement a stable enterprise level Red Hat Linux and Sun Solaris 10 environments, with a focus on JBOSS, Weblogic, Vignette Portal, and Artesia/Open Text digital asset management software. I led a technical team in an extensive 60 day performance tuning effort of www.travelchannel.com that resulted in a CableFAX award for best live streaming event for 2008.
- Leveraged Satellite server from Red Hat to rebuild 30 node JBOSS 4.05 Vignette Portal 7.4SP2 cluster in 6 days. I was able to get the automation down to the point that a node would be completely rebuilt and online within 40 minutes
- Deployed an Artesia 6.8 SP1 environment with FLIP ARRAY (telestream) 6.0 transcoding integration in 90 days.
- Configure Windows Media streaming servers to integrate via CIFS share to Artesia 6.8 SP1 assets.
- Managed externally facing Apache 2.2, DNS bind 9.0, and SFTP servers so producers could access and edit content remotely.
- Worked on www.travelchannel.com redesign project with upgrading framework to Vignette 7.6 and this effort is ongoing.

As part of the Services Implementation Group, I was part of a team of 5 that implemented all new technologies for the company, identified industry recognized best practices, documented and transitioned to the Technical Operations staff (TECHOPS).
- Implemented Webmethods 7.0 SOA infrastructure on Windows 2003 server. Clustered Intergration servers, Broker services and the MWS portal were clustered using Microsoft clustering services, and BAM shadowing processes.
- Implemented Telcordia Granite 5.2.1 asset management system running Weblogic 8.1 SP4 and Oracle 9i database.

- I was responsible for system administration of a mixed platform. Company utilizes 2-way text messaging, SMS, VOIP, UNIX & Linux, java and weblogic applications to provide a variety of mobile platforms to carriers like Cingular, Verizon, and Nextel. My specific duties are to FTP new code to application servers, identify and implement production hardware remedies, troubleshoot VPN connectivity between carriers, and support corporate Windows 2000/Exchange 5.5 LAN.

- I started in the NOC, worked my way in the Network Security group and transitioned to the Professional Services team as a Unix Administrator for Platinum accounts. This was a 300,000 square foot data center now owned by Google and the core services offered were Web Hosting outsourcing solutions.
- Worked with Lead Site Security Engineer to upgrade entire customer base with managed firewall solutions to Checkpoint version 4 with service pack 5. This initiative lead to the conversion of all managed firewalls to Nokia IP330/440/650 platforms and corresponding reconfigurations.
- Responsible for all netboots for hot spare firewalls to Checkpoint version 4 with service pack 5 and placing default Exodus settings.
- Worked with Lead Site Security Engineer in spring of 2002 to upgrade IPSO of entire customer base to address SNMP vulnerability.
