• Involved in day-to-day operations in running service department of a premier Apple Specialist, which includes level 2 and level 3, on-site and remote support of clients’ server and workstations as well as in-house repair of all hardware including, PowerMacs, Mac Pro, Macbook, Macbook Pro, iMac, XServe, Time Capsule, iPhone and iPad.

• Server support includes, but not limited to, designing and installation of Wireless/Wired Networks, maintaining User Accounts, LDAP, File/Print and Mail server.

• Establish sharing of file, mail and calendar using AFP, SMB, NFS, VPN, FTP and Open Directory. Setting up of LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, MySQL, Netboot and Web Server. Integration and deployment of iOS devices like iPhone, iPod and iPad with MS Exchange Server and Active Directory. Perform troubleshooting of hardware, software and user issues.

• Maintain network security with the use of Firewall and Broadband Router custom configuration. Provide solutions for data mirroring, migration, redundancy, backup and recovery using Retrospect, Time Machine, Time Capsule, RAID and Xsan and Xsan2 technologies.

• Install and custom configure POS LightSpeed as well as provide support for GSX, iLife’11, iCloud, MS Office, Aperture, Final Cut Pro and other Apple software.

• Manage Service department by assigning duties to service technicians for diagnosing and parts replacement. Maintain Service Server capable of running ASD (Apple Service Diagnostic) and NetBoot and NetInstal for serving hard disk and data images to multiple computers simultaneously. Provide training and education to staff after each product and OS launched by Apple.

Skills:

Work with all versions of Mac OS X and OS X Server Software 10.3 through 10.7 Lion, Unix and Linux. Possess great management skills suited for server administration, sales and support environment. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good command on all versions of iLife (iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, Garagband, iDvd) and other Apple applications like iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynotes). Well versed with POS LightSpeed, Apple GSX, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and Windows Server 2003/2008, Exchange Server 2010 and Windows XP through Windows 7.
