Work Experience:
Network Project Assistant: New Jersey Institute of Technology Jan-May 2012
Programming NETFPGA as a Programmable Router
Worked on LINUX platform with Centos as an Operating system.
Installed NETFPGA hardware. Generated Packets using the Packet generator.
Performed URL extraction by filtering the HTTP GET packets and storing it in the Database.
Design Trainee- Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL), India May-Dec 2010
Transferred information through air- to- air communication using Amplitude and Frequency Modulation on different frequency Ranges using signal generators.
Intern: National Remote Sensing Center, Hyderabad May-Dec 2009
Worked in a team of two on encoding the data to the satellites using Verilog Hardware Design Language (VHDL).
Observed the output simulations by inputting the binary data.
Graduate projects:
‘Relay Technologies for Wi-max and LTE’, NJIT Jan-May 2012
Wireless Networks and Personal Communications.
Created a Mat lab code which will calculate the amount of transmitted power from the
base station to mobile station.
We showed that by using Relay technology helps in consumption of power
transmission between any two ends in cellular environment.
‘Performance Analysis of the Customized Network Using Opnet Modeler’ NJIT Jan 2012
Designed and configured a small office network using OPNET Modeler.
Obtained and analyzed the network’s performance statistics via simulation to study how
different designs respond to the need of services as well as resource
‘Client/Server Communication over a secure channel’, NJIT Oct - Dec 2011
Internet High level Protocol
Established a secure communication Link between two computers through an encryption
and decryption algorithm using JAVA.
Presented a paper on the above title and submitted to IEEE.
Enterprise Database Management: Bakery ERP Sep-Dec 2011
Information Systems (IS)
Worked as a team of four people.
We created an ERP System for the bakery business management.
Mainly concentrated on Production, Sales analysis, Profit/loss calculations,
Customer Loyalty points and utilities.
Executed ERP diagram using visual Basic queries for creating tables and updating the
tables using Oracle-Aqua data studio.
Senior Project:
Fixing the Faulty appliances through embedded system and RF module Dec’09-May’10
As a member of the three-person project team, I designed and implemented fault devices.
The purpose of this device is to continuously monitor home appliances via a physical connection. by designing the device in such a way that the appliance status is sent from this device to a PC at home via an RF module, which in turn stores the status data.
We’ve embedded a software program in the PC so that upon detecting any fault, the PC
sends a remote alarm (including an URL) to the service man’s mobile using wireless protocol.
Activities:
Student ambassador in NJIT.
Organizing events in graduate student association (GSA) in my university.
