I am a responsible, dedicated, and hard-working employee with pertinent experience in data management, record-keeping, public interactions, and project involvement. I enjoy interacting with team members to achieve desired goals and outcomes. I seek for ways to best reach personal and company goals. I enjoy meeting the challenges new situations and problems may bring.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Sun Oil/Toledo Refinery Company (1/2007 thru present)

I started out as a refinery operator. I received my State Engineers License, learned required jobs, and completed apprenticeship requirements. I currently work in the Lab.

I run petroleum based samples to determine if they meet required distillation specifications. As part of the job, I also run flashes, gravities, BS&W’s (Basic Sediment and Water), viscosity, and pour tests.

Interim Administrator Meadows CHOICE Community School (8/1997 thru 12/1999)

As the Interim Administrator for Meadows CHOICE, I was responsible for administrative duties; physical facilities management (upkeep and maintenance); and all related personnel, student, and financial areas. I was involved in grant writing and overseeing the disbursement of the grant monies, ensuring the objectives were met, and fulfilling all other required duties in keeping with the federal and state directives. I was the liaison between the school and the school board members. I was directly involved in agenda writing and presentations at board meetings. As Meadows CHOICE was a small school, I was able to reach parents on a one to one level almost daily.

As the Office Assistant for the gated community, I was responsible for billing, receiving payments, payroll, record-keeping, and agenda preparation for monthly trustee meetings. QuickBooks was used for data management. I was the liaison between the Trustees and the Financial Officer. I was the frontline contact person for current and prospective residents, affiliated businesses, and all other public interactions. I organized several activities for residents.

As a public school educator, I was responsible for classroom management, lesson development and presentation, record-keeping, and all other educationally-related duties. I interacted with parents, other school personnel, and supervisors. In order to maximize the students’ learning experiences I utilized computer technology in the classroom, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and SMARTBoard technologies. I was involved in curriculum development, student assistance, minority affairs, and other committees during my teaching experiences. As a committee member, I worked on all stages of projects: planning, developing, implementing, tracking, and evaluating.
