Project Description:

. Services include Development and maintenance of Applications and Help desk support services to the users. Some of the key applications in this engagement are,

1. CoP (Community of Practice) - This is a template Database, widely used by many of the Lotus Notes Applications in Chevron. It is customized for each application depending on the user requirement. Collaborative functionalities include Meetings, Discussions, and Library.

2. CBRES Community of Practice Networks and Lessons Learned - These network connects Chevron personnel (customers and professionals) interested in the respective function. Each network is comprised of all CBRES Coordinators and personnel responsible for maintaining all of the files associated with Chevron owned and leased properties. These networks shares best practices and provide functional assistance to like positions across the enterprise.

Lessons Learned - This is a series of documented outcomes and practices collected as part of the look back process. The lessons learned transfer process focuses on seeking, capturing, understanding and deploying what was learned throughout a project's life cycle to help project teams to avoid repeating mistakes and duplicate activities that led to positive outcomes.

3. Global Compensation - Intranet site to help facilitate communication between Global Total Remuneration Groups across multiple regions. Files from each region being uploaded from the respective share drives to the intranet weekly by a schedule job. Thus making the files available through the chevron intranet across the globe. Weekly job also consist of generating a SAP feeder file with links to the documents on the intranet.

4. University Partnership Program - Intranet site to form long-term, strategic relationships between Chevron and a select group of Universities around the world.

The primary objective of this program is to form long-term, strategic relationships between Chevron and a select group of universities around the world. UPP expect these relationships to be multi-faceted, addressing recruiting, research and other university relationship initiatives. UPP also intends to identify and develop business and technology partnering opportunities with the universities who become part of the program.

5. Maintenance & Helpdesk Support Services -

• Maintenance for all GL & GCAS applications

Maintained, developed and provided various solutions to ease the business process for Singapore polytechnic (SP) over 30 months.

Following systems have been developed and implemented using lotus domino.

1. Customer Feedback System (http://www.sp.edu.sg) Feedback Database

This system was developed to handle all types of feedback from various customers of

SP, like students, parents, alumni and public. The workflow was implemented to route the feedback to the relevant departments and personate. Various reports have been provided for the department and the ministry use.

2. Transport Claim & reimbursement system

This system was developed for SP staff for entering claims for the local trips made during the terms in the financial year. Workflow was implemented for approving the claims and processing by the finance department. Various reports were provided for the departmental and organizational use.

Project Description:

The Asset Protection & Incident Management (APIM) tool suite provides business managers around the world with the capability to assess risks to the assets like people, products, infrastructure, information and finances that they manage and potential incidents that could impact on their business units. This multi-server client based application is developed in R5.10. The central hub server will have a central copy of the application, which will communicate with the Oracle to get the current Assessments of all the countries. The spoke (Country) server will have the Replica copy to access it locally. Schedule Replication is set to access the latest data from the server. The ACL, roles and groups maintain the security.

Contribution:

This was an Onsite-Offshore project with an ODC in Hyderabad, India.

Project Description:

Export to Excel – This Module allowed users to create a MS Excel report for data in a particular Manufacturing Workflow Application. User can apply query, select fields needed in report based on report requirement. This module can be added into all Manufacturing Workflow Applications with minimal enhancement to a particular Workflow Application. Functionalities of this module remain same no matter in which workflow application it is implemented.

Shop Problem Sheet - The digitization of the Shop Problem Sheet (SPS) and workflow will allow a manufacturing person to initiate an electronic action thru a web-based utility to request and track corrective actions for problems that occur in the mfg. environment. Data collected using this application will be used for Process Control and trace accountability purposes for audit trails.

This functional specification assumes that the tool that is used for building the application is Domino and Lotus Workflow.

SAFE - The previous system of Documents repository was a manual process involving maintaining documents of all business areas like Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Quality with no useful purpose and looking for a particular document will be more time consuming process. So everyone has concerns about the inability to find records when needed.

This project (SAFE System) aims to maintain the documents in organized manner and provide different kinds of search mechanism to reduce the time spent looking for records. This system will also be able to identify records that no longer need to be stored or retained. Email notifications and timely reminders are also sent for document deletions and auto renewal process.

LEI have been used to push the data into the Oracle, and reports have been generated using Business Objects.
