Present Project: United States Post Office, McAllen, TX

Responsible for taking project from inception, to completion.

From Apr. 2002 thru Dec 2008 Field Superintendent/Project Manager

Southwest Contractors, Inc., Texarkana, TX

Responsible for taking projects from inception, to completion. This company focused primarily towards management. This allowed me to use my experience to manage projects in the filed by obtaining bids, hiring sub-contractors, maintain schedules, control cost, and field supervision.

Projects with this company included retail stores, restaurants, shopping centers and warehouses. Contracts headed by me with this firm ranged from 1-2 million dollars. With this company, I headed projects in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Tennessee and Texas.

From Oct. 1995 thru Mar. 2002 Project Foreman/Superintendent

Wooldridge Construction Co., Memphis, TN

Beginning as a Project Foremen, I was quickly promoted to Project Superintendent.

Responsibilities included hiring and training of employees, field supervision, scheduling subcontractors, materials purchasing, survey/layout, and safety classes/inspection.

This company’s objective was “high profile” project. Some of the projects I headed for this firm included:

The Shelby County Annex (Old Courthouse), The Pyramid renovations, Germantown High School, The

University of Tennessee (Anatomy and Medical Buildings) and the Miller County Correctional Facility. Most projects were Memphis based and contracts ranged from 5-20 million dollars.

From Mar 1993 thru Sept. 1995 Level II Technician (Lab & Field)

Hardee Construction Co., Mobile, AL

I performed required tests on state highways and commercial projects. The tests performed included compaction, density and moisture control. I was certified on both Troxler and CPN density gauges. Maintained regulated specifications set forth by the State of Alabama, Department of Transportation’s Q/A, Q/C program. Lab work included working on mix designs and confirming field test reports. Also served as the company’s RSO (Radiation Safety Officer).

From Jan 1991 thru Feb. 1993 Level Technician (Radiographer)

Rad.Tech Services, Inc., Mobile, AL

I performed Non-Destructive testing at various facilities including chemical plants, refineries, shipyards, military bases, etc. Inspections were made using radiographic (x-rays), ultra-sonics, die-penetrant, magnetic particle and visual.

Other duties included but ere not limited to RSO (Radiation Safety Officer), training company personnel, acting liaison with State Dept. of Safety (Radiation Control Board) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
