Informatica GIT ETL Project
Served as SME and as Lead Developer for project at Salle Mae. Contributed to development team of the GIT ETL project moving from version 7 to version 8. Charged with analysis and documentation of changes, coding changes, developing test plans, mentoring other team members, testing, cod review and coordination of changes in production code. Result: Project took data from production database and scrubbed it of all NPI data, preventing NPI data from becoming test data as well as accidental release. Continued to perform maintenance/support/updates/upgrades on Informatica Power Center in IDE. (2004 2008)
RF Gun (Hand Held Scanner) Movement Project
Designed, coded, and tested an Inventory Movement module for Sigma Micro’s Controller + Product. Designed the module to detect if the user was logging in from an RF Gun or a Terminal. Coded the programs to use the window provided by the RF Gun. Used bar coded label to enter in the product number, then moved a selected quantity from a location to a fork lift location or from a fork lift location to a location. Interfaced with the Controller + inventory system to track movements. Provided a list box detailing the current locations of all the products in the warehouse. Result: Module met customer requirements and became base product for all Sigma customers. Module improved inventory accuracy by tracking product location in warehouse. Project successfully completed in 3 week timeframe.
Code Changes on Programs and Pearl Scripts for Internet
Wrote and completed multiple code changes on program and Pearl scripts for the Internet for Sigma Micro. Programs were designed to be API and Pearl scripts that ran on the Internet and interfaced with a product from Sigma Micro called the eController. This product allowed direct marketer the ability to have a web presence. Result: The API allowed the eController to interface into the Controller+ and any updates made on the eController would be reflected on the Controller+ system.
