As an intern, helped the publicists by writing news releases for clients, clipping articles, researching different media outlets to utilize for events, writing advertorials and getting coverage for and promoting various events in the Boston area.

Allied Advertising; Boston, MA (June 2009-August 2009)

As a general intern, helped the publicists by researching events around the Boston area to do movie promotions (such as promoting Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 500 Days of Summer at the annual Boston Chowderfest and Red Sox home games). Attended and worked at movie screenings (such as The Ugly Truth) that the company promoted for various movie studios.

Music at Menlo; Atherton, CA (June 2008-August 2008)

As an event planning intern for the chamber music festival, organized post-concert events for the musicians for different themed dinner parties including: Greek Night, Welcome BBQ, and Mexican Night. Sold and served concessions which included: cheese platters, dessert platters and complimentary wine.
