I have many talents that I feel would make a nice addition to your company. I have a strong work ethic, with an attention to detail. I am focused to whatever the task is at hand, a roll up the sleeves and get it done guy. I have experience in customer service, and in management of employees. Customer experience was with multimillion-dollar contracts. (IE: Costco, Wal-Mart, Michelin Tire are just a few) I have experience with AS400, EDI, Word, Excel, and other common office programs. I also possess a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL Class A with various endorsements). I have a great driving record, and employment history.
Employment
1992-1996: Nappi Trucking, Matawan, NJ: Duties included: The safe loading/unloading and transport of various liquids. The majority of items were hazmat in nature, but food grade was also occasionally hauled. I drove in and around the NY city area, and Northern NJ.
1996-1998: Layne Christensen, Denver, CO: Duties included the safe transportation of drill steel, and other various equiptment to and from remote drilling locations. This was a very labor intensive job at times. Due to the nature of drilling I was also assigned to assist on the various rigs as needed. I was able to gain experience driving in off road driving, and inclement weather.
1998-2003: Swift transportation Inc, Phoenix, AZ: Duties included: Freight Planner Eastern regional 200+ loads a day. Driver Manager, manage 50 trucks in all aspects. I was to watch fuel consumption, excessive miles, and the driver s needs and requests. I was also Customer Service for JIT (Just in Time) accounts. I was responsible for 130 loads per day. These contracts were million dollar contracts. Daily contact was a must, and the can do attitude was always expected. I started as a driver, then Trainer, and then progressed into their office environment.
2004-2008: Crete Carrier Corporation, Lincoln,NE: I drove a conventional tractor with a 53 foot dry van. I drove all the lower 48 states. I interacted with the various customers, and strived for customer satisfaction. I took great pride in on time service, and my safe driving skills. (Please note I took one year off from OTR to drive locally while sharing custody of my daughter)
2008-2009: Chem Station, Auburn, WA. Duties included the safe operation of a Haz-Mat delivery vehicle. I delivered various chemicals from truck to customer using air pumps. I installed and maintained various accounts as well. Sales, and customer service was also performed daily.
