Career Summary:

With over ** years of experience in the industry I have always strived to advance my career. As a Project Superintendent I directly supervised up to forty plus craftsmen, and as a Junior Project Manager I directly managed four Project Superintendents. I have experience with projects in the healthcare, education, government, and military sectors.

Work History:

FitzGerald & Sons Plumbing Company- Estimator; September 2000-January 2011

(Plumbing Contractor Based in Atlanta, GA with an annual revenue of $15 Million.)

I started with FitzGerald as a working Foreman supervising crews of four to eight men. As the company and size of it’s projects grew I evolved into a Project Superintendent overseeing several projects in the $500K to $3M dollar range with my most notable project being a 4 story healthcare project valued at $3M where daily manpower was forty plus craftsmen. In October of 2007 I was promoted to Junior Project Manger where I managed several projects in the $100K to $600K range along with assisting the Senior Project Managers with man power issues, site logistics, and safety. I was also heavily involved in the commissioning process of three LEED projects. As the construction market became more competitive and the companies back log of work decreased I was asked to transition into our estimating department in July of 2008 to increase our estimating capabilities. During my time as an estimator I became proficient with the Maxwell Systems Estimation Logistics program performing on screen digital take-off and solicitation of pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Along with estimating per plan and spec I have been able to use my knowledge of the plumbing industry in providing conceptual budgets for projects based on minimal information provided through architectural narratives and conceptual drawings. I have estimated several projects in the $1M to $4M price range.

Smith Mechanical- Foreman; January 2000-September 2000

Daily job responsibilities included installing plumbing systems as they pertain to the commercial industry, overseeing the work of one or two other craftsmen on any given project.

Wayco Electrical & Mechanical- Superintendent; January 1999-January 2000

Responsibilities included overseeing the daily operations of three separate crews working on multiple projects. Material procurement, equipment rental, man power, and scheduling issues were just a few of the daily duties I performed.

Crawford Mechanical- Plumber; June 1995-January 1999

Daily job responsibilities included installing plumbing systems as they pertain to the commercial industry, I also assisted our HVAC technician with installing thermostats, smoke detectors, low voltage wiring, and start-up.
