Position Description:

Interpret moderate complex drawings, standards, and procedures. Provide oversight to technicians in

Carriers and Piece-part assembly areas. Perform visual and mechanical inspections of assembled

fixtures and components. Provide constant surveillance of in-process assembly work. Monitor and report

unsafe practices within the work area.

• Approved In-Process and Final Inspections of Work Orders and the part and build

• Floor In-Process inspections of assemblers, technicians and operators

• Witnessed mate-demates, torquing, mixes of multiple epoxies, baking, verifying serial numbers as

well as the configuration of the part assembly

• Reissued new expiration dates for certain epoxies and RTV overcoats

• Recalibrated tools such as Hotweezers, Crimpers and torque tools

• Controlled testing such as vibration and thermal vacuum

• Registered received parts from outside vendor into our own IFS systems

• Inspections done on shims, substrates and IPC boards under 10x magnification microscopes

• NASA certified Soldering

• Dealt with and wrote up nonconformance records daily. Also, partnered with ME’s, RE’s, PAPM’s

and on-site customer’s to acquire signatures on our NC reports via Email and cross-functional

meetings

• Worked with ME’s and RE’s to resolve issues efficiently

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing process instructions (MPI’s) and engineering

change orders (ECO’s) to the build

• Familiar with the ISO-9001 standard as well as the MIL-STD
