To provide online facility to users for reading books. There will be registration for every user for reading any book or can upload some articles. Also admin registration is included for uploading new articles and books.

Project Description:

The purpose of National Provider Identifier (NPI) is a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Administrative Simplification Standard. The NPI is a unique identification number for covered health care providers, all health plans and health care clearinghouses must use the NPIs in the administrative and financial transactions adopted under HIPAA. The NPI is a 10-position, intelligence-free numeric identifier (10-digit number). Information about such as the state in which they live or their medical specialty. The purpose of these provisions is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the electronic transmission of health information. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has developed the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) to assign these unique identifiers. This data was then transferred to SAS System and datasets were created. Data Integration, Validation and manipulation is done. The Safety and Efficacy reports had been generated as per the statistical analysis plan. NPI is US government database.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting data from the database by using Base/SAS procedures.

• Created Reports using Base SAS Reporting Procedures.

• Extensively used Proc Compare, Proc Transpose, Proc Sort, Proc Summary and Proc means.

• Created macros to generate safety reports with respect to the Statistical Analysis plan.

• Consolidated NPI database with flags that indicate when Physicians was added and when they no longer appeared and updated.
