Sr. Training Analyst

Serves as Sr. Training Analyst for the multi-billion dollar Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter program responsible for creating and delivering (DoD) military training utilizing the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) process. Performs task and training needs analyses to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing program. Develop and organize Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), training manuals, and other educational material. Develop testing and evaluation procedures. Plans, develops, and facilitates training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops. Serves as systems matter expert and interacts between departments to gather information, develop lesson plans, student performance guides, examinations, training aids, audiovisual programs and other training materials, applying the System Approach to Training (SAT) process. Serves as instructor for teaching the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary for the maintenance and operation of the Army’s (Bell) new Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH-70A) helicopter.

Joined the company in the summer of 2006 tasked with leading the training and developing of military courseware for ARH-70A helicopter. Challenged to introduce policies, systems, and processes required to support military training and database development. Current scope of work includes systems matter expert, training Bell personnel in military Systems Approach to Training (SAT), sub-contractor management, budget control, production activities, advisor to technical publication and interacting with Bell and DoD Program Management for matters of Statement of Work (SOW), sub-contractor requirements, deliverables, budget and schedule.

Key Achievements:

 Developed and delivered training for the first successful loading and unloading of two experimental ARH-70A helicopters on a C-130 cargo airplane proving that the ARH can be rapidly deployed to hostile areas world wide. Team exceeded DoD requirements of 15 minutes, completing the task in only 11 minutes 15 seconds.

 Successfully negotiated the release of previously adapted training approach to employ a more direct and accurate approach focused on providing a less costly and a more efficient and effective training program.

Served proudly as a non-commissioned officer in the US Army assigned to posts both CONUS and OCUNUS as a 15S OH-58D Maintenance Mechanic. I enlisted in the Army during the winter of 1996 and honorably discharged in May 2006.
