WORK EXPERIENCE

TRAINEE OPERATIONS ENGINEER
• Responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operation of 4x323 MW steam power plant.
• Well versed knowledge on operation and troubleshooting of plant BOP’s. Desalination plant (MED), Demineralization (Mix bed) plant, Waste water treatment plant, Hydrogen plant, Sodium hypochlorite plant and Screening plant.
• Well versed with boiler and turbine/generator operations and their auxiliaries.
• Understanding of power purchase and fuel supply agreements.
• Accountable for supervising the day to day power generation and dispatch.
• Quality assurance of Fuel oil and its compositions for acceptance or rejection.
• Perform duties as a plant safety controller, ensuring the compliance of all safety rules and procedures during routine maintenance, outages and plant operation.
• Well competent in Work Permit System NISOFT.
• Perform Isolations and normalization of system for maintenance work. Perform electrical switching up to 6.6KV.

• “Boiler Burners” contains burner construction, combustion issues, remedies of oil leakages, and chocking of burner tips. Build a standard OI (Operating instructions) for changing the burner gun in safer way.
