The Make a Wish Foundation: Service-learning project
• I contacted more than 300 schools in the Fresno/Clovis area to determine their interest in a new donation program called “Kids for Wish Kids”. I also helped to put marketing/information packets together to send out to potential donors.
Relay for Life: 2006-2009. Our team name was “Hearts on Crusade” and as a team we raised over $25,000 for cancer research.
Locks of Love: I donated a total of 20 inches of my hair to this organization to be made into wigs for people with illnesses, especially children with diseases, which prevent them from growing their own hair.
