WORK EXPERIENCE
Software Engineer/Production - Internship
Siemens Communication, Boca Raton, FL August 2007 – Present

- Software engineered the “FileComparisonTool” in Java that automates the comparison of two file lists from two site locations after asynchronous merges are performed. This benefited the company by reducing: manual labor, human error, and product deployment time.
- Architectured and implemented the “Feature Interaction Tool” website used to display phone features by using “Ajax-based” and “PHPMySQL” technology. Resulted in a website that requires minimal maintenance cost.
- Involved in the code refactoring for the “ClearQuest” DBMS migration by modifying the database infrastructure using “IBM Rational ClearQuest IDE” and “Perl-based hooks”. Scripts built: automated global email notification, field migration script from old to new DB, and excel query dumps.
- Involved in the design, implementation, and testing of Web-based application called “OpenScape Voice Trace Manager” used to analyze call traces. Additional duties: research for best low cost graphing technology, design and implementation of the graphing technology, and real-time data display implementation. Benefited the company by expediting the identification of problematic areas, which resulted in troubleshoot efficiency increase, debug-time reduction, and production cost reduction.
