Designation: Business Operations Manager (Dec 2010 – Till Date)

Directly reporting into Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Responsibilities include providing business analytics support to COO, driving process improvement initiatives, developing presentations to provide business performance overview and proposing recommendations.

•Designed and institutionalized daily and monthly management reports to provide deep business insight. Ops review is conducted with the CEO based on the monthly management report.

•Leading a team of analysts who are responsible for production of MIS that supports property valuation business and for ad hoc analysis of data that helps in managerial decision making.

•Conceptualized a new Incentive Compensation Plan for a team of 150 members for more robust process control. Plan was approved by executive committee and has been implemented.

•Currently leading a project on reducing the overall turnaround time for property valuation. Also working on developing vendor scorecard for the business unit.

Designation: Manager Mortgage Operations and Analytics (July 2008 – Nov 2010)

Started Charged-off Mortgage operations and analytics line of business, catering to US market, in India. Led a team that provided Asset Management Recovery services, on Non Performing Assets portfolio of $800 million, to top investment banking and financial institutions. Core responsibility included formulation of business strategy, strategic planning, driving revenue for the business and remote client engagement.

•Single handedly established an offshore team in India for US Charged-off Mortgage business. Executed the “Geographic Business Expansion” strategy of the top management by leading the hiring process, conceptualizing the training modules, facilitating the training of the employees and operationlizing the team in India. Led a strong team of 25 employees generating servicing fee-based annual revenue of $1.5 million through collections on Charged off 2nd lien Mortgages.

•Streamlined the business across US and Indian site by establishing the work standards, analyzing and incorporating the strategic changes in departmental policies in coordination with the VP for the business.

•Analyzed existing clientele of the company and identified business opportunity on untapped loan portfolios. This resulted in successful acquisition of servicing rights for $200 million of Non Performing Assets.

•Conducted segmentation analysis for the business portfolio and devised collection strategies based on its findings in order to enhance revenue numbers.

•Developed the process flow for equity analysis, status identification of the senior lien and preliminary analysis for account resolution.

•Responsible for capacity planning based on business volume projections.

•Conceptualized the ‘Policies and Procedures’ manual that codified the policies governing the Mortgage Recovery Group across sites and outlined the loss mitigation strategies to be offered to debtors.
