Responsible for the development and growth of large and small format retail outlets in the salty snack food category for a $13 billion dollar company.
Managed the salty snack category within regional and national supermarket as well as club and mass merchandising retail chains in order to bring a profitable return to the customer and Frito Lay.
Responsible for selling, delivering, merchandising, marketing/promotions, inventory, space allocation, quality controls, and customer relations.
Key accomplishments
Achieved company satisfaction in sales performance expectations. Had sales productivity of at least 100% or more to prior year sales; and an increase of double-digit growth in sales projections as well as prior year numbers in some years.
At the close of 2002, finished with a sales increase of 102.5% to prior year numbers by posting overall gross sales of $485,812.
2002 inventory and quality control of product was considered satisfactory by having $8,308 (1.74%) go stale, and $3,362 (0.7%) be returned as defective for an amount of $11,697 (2.45%) in total unsaleables.
At the close of 2002,1 made sales calls on 11 accounts. 8 of 11 are regional or national chain stores. 7 out of the 8 chain stores ranked in the top 25% respectively.
Since my employment I have handled at least $5.4 million dollars of salty snack food products at gross sales.
