I, along with the Chief engineer, was responsible to get a newly purchased boat ready electrically and mechanically to be able to cross the Atlantic Ocean to be delivered to it's new owners in New Orleans, La.

• Served 4 years at Governors Island, NY. assigned to the Ferryboat Maintenance Div. as EM2/E-5. Responsible for electrical repair of a 4 boat ferry fleet that ran between Governors Island and Lower Manhattan. Also responsible for 4 person duty section during overnight hours (4pm-7am) every third day.
