Career duties and responsibilities:

• In-charge in carrying out complete dry-docking repairs, modification and planning of jack-up barge, tugs, crane barges, hoppers, pontoons and dredgers under IACS (BV, ABS, NKK, GL, CCS, LR and RINA) class requirements

• Coordinates all types of dry-docking jobs i.e. pipings, outfittings, machineries, electrical and hull treatment & preservation through in-house and outside third party docking repairs

• Conducts general assessment inspection for cost estimation of the major repairs of tugs, barges, dredgers, hoppers and other fabrication works

• Prepares docking and lifting plans

• Conducts inclining experiment on different types of vessels

• Conducts stability calculation on different loading and lifting activities on barges and pontoons associated with deck mounted cranes

• Gives technical support to the company as a Naval Architect as and when required

• Coordinates with IACS for classification surveys and assesses updates compliance to statutory regulations that would be required on different types of vessels

i. Coordinate with Administration section from time to time regarding Company policies and procedures and immediately report any infraction committed by workers within area of responsibility

j. Attends meetings, trainings and seminars that may be called by proper authorities of the company
