Assume lead role in quality assurance for Production/Operations by interfacing with Engineering and Operations to ensure Production was in accordance to the Quality Management System. Supporting Quality Inspectors to ensure the products and processes comply with the relevant requirements (drawings, planning, IPC-610). Hosting as well as conducting audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventative actions. Assume lead role in continual improvement by creating and monitoring root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as well as measuring the effectiveness of the corrective action. Career contributions:

• Functioned as a quality specialist for the Electrical-Optical production and assembly operations for 40 product lines.

• Analyzed inspection procedures for inefficiencies and risk that reduced the number of inspectors from six inspectors to three by eliminating redundant and low risk inspection steps.

• Selected by management for a Raytheon Team Achievement award for the development of new product inspection procedures that led to the team making contract earlier than projected with a profit bonus.

• February Land Combat Employee of the Month, nominated by peers for support while producing 3,590 missiles in 40 days to make contract.
