Responsible for:

 Converting breakthrough Supply Chain research into operational best practices and proliferate them across business groups and supply chain organizations to drive polices and contract terms.

 Developing model-based, quantitative valuation methods and processes to maximize the value from Supply Chain investments.

Key Accomplishments:

 Managed a group of Intel Business Managers, Engineers and a GT University research team to solve complex supply chain and business strategy problems. The results will drive changes to operating policies, contracts and decision making processes.

 Led the development of an end-to-end Supply Chain simulation model and processes to proactively evaluate and prioritize Supply Chain and Business projects based on Net Value delivered.

Manager – Global Supply Chain Modeling & Solutions

2001 to 2009

Key Accomplishments:

 Drove the development of inventory target setting tools for Raw Materials and Finished Goods, resulting in 5-year ROI of $61M for first implementation in 20009.

 Lead the development of the Intel VMI Hub strategy and Roadmap for global product distribution.

 Developed a $50M, 5-year ROI, Ocean/Air Transportation and Inventory Planning solver to enable efficient planning, production and shipping of server parts from Asia to the US and Europe.

 Used Simulation modeling to develop quantitative solutions to inventory planning and management problems to achieve $145M in savings for OEM customers and $80M savings for Intel.

Engineering Manager – Planning & Logistics Group

1997 to 2001

Key Accomplishments:

 Chartered with developing a Logistics Engineering organization to implement Logistics planning systems and warehouse capacity to enable a 500%+ increase in Finished Goods shipments to Worldwide Customers within a 2-year period.

 Transformed the process for product introduction. Teamed up with the Assembly Technology to synchronized product (Celeron) and shipping package design to save 6 months and >$200K.

Automation Manager – Components Automation Systems

1992 – 1997

 Systematically improved the performance of the station controller hardware to achieve an overall uptime rate of above 99.98%.

Project Manager – Factory Automation

1987 – 1992

 Implemented the first fully automated system (Storage, Monorail and Robots) in a USA. Class 1 High Volume Wafer Fab.
