I planned for the packaging area and small mechanical parts. I forecasted packaging material and software media. My job consisted of expediting materials from vendors, purchasing, and inventory control. I purchased some non-production material. Each morning I attended product meetings in which we gave a daily report on materials shortages and forecasted how many computers the plant would be able to make on a daily bases. I worked with various engineering groups in implementing packaging changes and designs. I was a member of the Engineering Change Notice sign-off and pack team. I maintained bills of materials. I am familiar with JIT and TQC. Compaq used the ASK/MANMAN manufacturing system. MANMAN was used on a Hewlett Packard mainframe. Salary 31K
