Performer- I have played with dozens of groups, professional and non-professional. Groups including the Huxford Symphony Orchestra and The Million Dollar Band as well as touring rock, jazz, and blues groups.

Composer- I have studied under Dr. Craig First, Dr. Marvin Johnson, Dr. Stephen Peles, and spent time studying briefly with Tristan Murai, Sir Harrison Birtwistle, Mario Davidovsky, and Peter Westergaard. I have written several contemporary classical works which have been performed and recorded by many groups across the country including of course several ensembles and performers at the University of Alabama and other major universities across the

southeast as well as contemporary groups such as Earplay in San Francisco, CA. I have also written a multitude of songs and other types of musical pieces for various (usually smaller, less professional) groups.

Sound Engineer- I worked and ran my own personal studio, in addition to working at several other local recording studios, for several years working with many local artists representing many musical genres, from marching bands to singer/songwriter’s. I have run live sound in a multitude of different settings including churches, festivals, and nightclubs.

I was in charge of 11 of the 43 concession stands located in Bryant-Denny Stadium, specifically those that were in the upper decks in the endzones and the eastern side of the stadium. I helped load in new product and equipment into the stadium and made sure that things ran as smooth as possible by supplying the volunteer groups that ran the stands with anything that they required on game days.

I worked on photos and videos for daily release in magazines, webpages, and organizations such as the Alabama Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau and companies such as Strike King Lures.

Sowing Seed Productions

Engineer

I played a key role in the construction of this studio and stayed on to run and maintain the equipment. I had to set up microphones then take control of the control booth as I used a variety of different kinds of recording equipment to effectively record all types of ensembles.
