Custom GIS Solution project at University of Manchester

Completed a project of custom GIS solution in VBA and Arc objects, created a toolbar in ArcGIS which was made to speed up the process of identifying roads for the Northwest branch of highway agency, UK

Planning and Implementing a GIS based analysis at University of Manchester

Using GIS I have recommend suitable locations for a new automatic air quality monitoring station in south Manchester to measure urban background concentrations of nitrogen dioxide.

Green Street GIS at University of Manchester

The Project aims to design database for Red Rose Forest community which is a leading environmental organisation in Manchester, UK. It also includes design of User Interface for data input and visualisation of trees on the map which works as a tracking system. Software used, ArcGIS, ArcSDE and Java

Evaluated the Landsat TM image for habitat mapping at University of Manchester

By using principles and theory of remote sensing to a practical application evaluated the Landsat TM image for habitat mapping in the Dark Peak. This project has developed skills in image analysis, especially multispectral classification.

Environmental Monitoring and Modelling Practises at University of Manchester

Using ArcGIS and ISIS software, catchment average rainfall estimation and runoff prediction carried out using runoff model for the Rift Valley Lakes basin (RVLB), Ethiopia.

Musical Classification using Neural Network (Under Graduation Final year Project)

Developed a classifier which automatically classifies downloaded music into various categories. The classification can be performed both by genre and by artist. Language used VC++.
