Worked as a Deputy Lead Engineer on B.P. Exploration Operating Co. Ltd. Grangemouth, Scotland on FEED of Enhanced Gas Separation Project for processing higher GOR crude involving crude stabilization and also downstream gas processing plant for all trains 1, 2 & 3. Crude stabilization involved Fired Heaters and Waste Heat Recovery Units.

Gas processing plant involved Compression, Fractionation sections (Deethanisers, Depropanisers and Debutanizers).

Hysys model used to determine over/under predictions based on the plant PI data. Governing cases from operating cases of GY2011 and GY2016 were used to perform the rating of various equipment having bottlenecks, produced overall material balances, process calculations, hydraulic calculations, equipment and instrument datasheets, etc. I was involved in updating the existing PFDs and also P&IDs development for the revamp work, etc.

Aibel AS, Norway -

Worked as a Deputy Lead Engineer for an Offshore project of Conoco Phillips (with Aibel Project, Norway) on Greater Ekofisk & Edlfisk Modification (GEM)- FEED and Detailed Engineering of Modification of existing platforms. This includes process calculations, equipment and instrument datasheets, P&ID development, etc.

Various modifications includes but not limited to Flare tip replacements with sizing calculations, fuel gas line material replacement and line reroute, replacement of existing instruments for sophistication and ease of operability.

One of the platforms, system is upgraded with addition of wireless transmitters on water injection wellheads to enhance oil production recovery factor.

Also, worked on Conoco Phillips’ document management system (SAP).

Santos Limited, Australia:

Worked at Foster Wheeler, Reading on an assignment for Santos - Gladstone LNG Upstream FEED project.

This is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility at Gladstone in Queensland, Australia which would see coal seam gas (CSG) produced, processed and sold into export markets.

I was responsible for development of FEED P&IDs using Bluebeam software, generation of Package Unit Specification, Process calculations, equipment datasheets, etc.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Paradip Refinery, India -

Worked on a FEED for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Paradip Refinery, India Grassroot project.

Part of the total scope included conversion of Licensor P&IDs into Smart Plant P&IDs and licensor data checking, commenting and issueing Contract Engineering datasheets for Sulfuric Acid Regeneration Unit (Licensor - MECS Inc. USA).

Khabarovsk Refinery, Russia –

Worked as a Project Management Consultant on a hydroprocessing project for a Khabarovsk Refinery upgrade.
