SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Directed the design of a publically owned replacement hospital.

Directed hospital operating expense reduction in excess of $1 000 000.00/year in the public sector.

Initiated and successfully negotiated the acquisition of a freestanding psychiatric hospital. Results: Reduced payroll costs by $850 000.00 through reorganizing the workforce increased occupancy by 33% and annual net revenues by $6.5M. The hospital was profitable within the second quarter of ownership.

Negotiated long term lease and service agreements prior to the construction of an eighty-bed residential treatment center. Results: The $2M construction project was completed within timeframes and approximately $200 000.00 below budget. The lease generates annual net revenue of $2.7M.

Increased licensed bed capacity of one hospital by eighteen beds. Results: The additional bed capacity increased annual net revenues by $2.6M.

Developed two therapeutic day treatment programs that serve forty adolescents. Results: Programs were profitable within the first quarter of operation and generate annual net revenue of $2.4M.

Identified opportunity to lease beds and provide contract services to Community Mental Health Centers. Results: Significantly reduced the amount of indigent care being provided while increasing overall occupancy. Contracts generated $1.5M annual net revenue.

Negotiated short- term contract to downsize a state institution for the mentally retarded while simultaneously developing group homes to relocate the residents. Results: The state was able to close an antiquated institution; residents were placed in more appropriate housing. Increased annual net revenue by $1.2M and net profit by $220 000.00.

A privately held behavioral health services company

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Fayetteville AR

Responsible for all operations of this privately held company. Including inpatient and outpatient operations banking relations cash management and acquisitions. Successfully led Fayetteville hospital through the February 2000 Charter Behavioral Health System Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and transition to new ownership. Increased licensed acute bed capacity from 44 to 61. (17 Adult 16 Child 28 Adolescent). Development of four outpatient clinics. Directed construction of 80 bed residential free standing facility. Negotiated and secured long term lease and purchased service agreement for the

residential facility with an unrelated party. Identified negotiated and successfully acquired a 57 bed psychiatric hospital in Ft. Smith Arkansas. Transaction was completed in June 2003. Developed two Therapeutic Day Treatment Programs.

Negotiated service agreements with Community Mental Health Centers totaling $1.5M net annual revenue.
