SUPPLY CHAIN IMPROVEMENT
• Monitored the flow of production from raw materials to finished goods utilizing the company’s manufacturing system throughout the entire lean manufacturing production process for a Tier III automotive interior fabrics manufacturer.
• Stay abreast of the status of items on production schedules for numerous departments including: Finishing, Face Finishing, Knitting, Lamination, Inspection, Research & Development, Sales, Quality, Maintenance and Shipping.
• Determine which items of production/schedules should be accelerated in order to meet internal and external customer demands.

PLANNING AND ANALYSIS
• Plan daily production schedules for finishing, face finishing, dye house, and lamination for a 24 hour operation.
• Plan Weekly and Monthly Production and Inventory levels taking into account required lead time.
• Create Weekly knitting requirements for the knitting department.
• Communicate with knitting department to assign raw materials to batches in order to initiate production.
• Create a dye schedule to forecast needs in relation to production schedule.
• Held a Bi-weekly production meeting discussing with all departments the monthly production plan.
• Utilize available resources to schedule production considering machine load capacity, number of operators, and inventory.
• Maintained a close working relationship with Sales, QA, and QC to deliver the end product in a timely manner.
• Maintained, well below, the targeted Work In Process meters, for the day, week, and monthly plans.
• Created APQP Capacity Analysis of Developmental items.
