OBJECTIVE

expertise working in this sector for the last 15 years will be utilised to their fullest.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technical Engineering specializing in Mechanical Engineering
(Structures and Industrial Installations), at the University of Valladolid (Spain).
Post-graduate in Health and Safety at Work, specializing in Safety at Work, according to the
Spanish law. 600 hours.
Hold the title of Industrial Technical Engineer from the Official Association of Industrial Technical
Engineers. (Equivalent to title of Professional Engineer in the USA).
Recognition as European Engineer, EUR ING, conferred by the European Federation of National
Engineering Associations (FEANI).
Several retraining courses, through the Official Association of Industrial Technical Engineers, that I
belong to. See Annex I.
EXPERIENCE
Jul 2003 – Present.
• Self-employed, working in the following areas:
• Paper Industry.
o Represented different foreign companies as their sales agent in Spain and
Portugal (from Italy, USA, Sweden, Germany) through the company Tecnoval
Proyectos Industriales, s.l. See Annex II.
o Designed and supervised the manufacturing, assembly and start-up of new
parts and re-built parts of paper machines for the biggest paper mills in Spain.

o Created a new documentation system for the engineering departments in the
companies Tecnoval Proyectos Industriales, s.l. and Montajes y Servicios
Papeleros, s.l.l.
• Installations.
o Designed, signed off on the documents, supervised the installation and
certified the suitability of the final result in heating, air conditioning, electrical,
gas and plumbing systems for buildings.
o Designed, programmed, installed and started-up Building Automation Systems
(Domotics systems).
o Designed electrical infrastructure and lighting system for housing
developments (urbanizations).

Mar 1998 – Feb 2002. In charge of Projects and Health and Safety at Work at the company TECNIA,
Ingenieros Consultores, S.L.
• Created and established all the procedures and formats at the Engineering Dept.,
such as Projects and Safety documentation.
• Developed over a 150 installations Projects for buildings, and signed off as the one in
charge of those projects. Supervised the execution of those installations and certified
the suitability of the final result.
• Did Safety analysis for the machines at the company ENERTEC, S.A. (Licensed by
Beloit Corporation, from the USA). Reorganized and established a new system
according to the new European-Spanish law. Created new forms, guidelines and
manuals for the Technical Construction File.
• Made and signed off as the one in charge of Safety and Heath Studies and Plans for
construction works, according to the European-Spanish law.
Jun 1997 – Feb 1998. Made concrete and steel structure calculations and completed project
developments at the company INASO, Ingenieros Asociados.
Nov 1996 – Jun 1997. Technical manager at the company CARPE, Ingeniería y Proyectos, S.L. Coworker
