HOT AREA: Feedstock control to the cracking furnaces (ethane, propane, NGL Mix), fuel gas systems. Workings of operations, control, handling of pyrolysis furnaces, conversions, yields, steam generation, furnace internal pressure, venturi tubes pressures (coking). Injection of DMDS for the preparation of the gas towards the catalytic conversion. Washing of process gas by means of Quench Tower to remove heavy oil, light oil and dripolene off the process gas. Separation of condensates from the process gas, compression of the gas (PGC), caustic washing, drying of the same one. Control of units handling organic and inorganic effluents. Control of steam production, operation of steam reduction stations, (70, 45, 14, 2 kg/cm2).
COLD AREA: Pre-cooling, refrigeration compressors (ethylene and propylene), COLD BOX system, distillation, control of temperature, pressure, purity of ethylene and propylene product. Handling and control of the ethylene / propylene storage area (tanks and recompression, KOBE compressors). By-products handling such as dripolene, hydrogenated gasoline, heavy and light oil. Modifications of the controls of the operational variables, SP of temperature, pressure, flow and adjustments through TDC-3000 (HONEYWELL) and monitoring of the PLC. Participation in pre commission, starting and shutdowns of Ethylene plants. Participation in areas of major plant turnarounds.
