Schematic creation using Pro Diagram, Selection of connectors, Routing of harness (Based on DFM/DFA), VDRA,

Co-ordinating with suppliers regarding feasibility, cost & conducting design reviews with process partners of various business units..

Onsite Deputation through Shimi Designs & Consultants, Chennai

Role:

Part of the Product Design Team, responsible for designing special products for major Indian labs such as DRDO; modeling and preparing detail-engineering drawings for the entire projects.

Preparing Fabrication and Machining Drawings for all assemblies and components; involved in selection and checking for process data’s.

Making Hydraulic & Pneumatic routing in assemblies; customizing the software as per the project like templates, features, annotations and weldment profiles in solidworks.

Creating Bill of Material, purchase requests in ERP software "JD Edwards".

Title: Helicopter Traversing System – Single Track

Client: GSL, Goa

Tools: Solidworks, AutoCAD

Scope: Helicopter Traversing System was used to secure both Seaking and ALH helicopters along the curved rail into the hanger, when the ship was in the sailing condition. The end user for this system was Indian Navy.

Title: Transporter cum Launcher

Client: RDE-Pune

Tools: Pro-E, AutoCAD

Scope: Transporter Cum Launcher was a vehicle used to transport, integrate and tilt the cylindrical article into launch mode. It possessed a payload integration device which integrated payload with the article.

May’05-Feb’07 with Evergreen Power Looms, Sivakasi, as Maintenance Engineer

Role:

Preventive maintenance of the Weaving machines, humidification plant & Air Dryer.
