JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.

Inspection and Maintenance of Drill pipe including Visual Thread Inspection, OD gauging, Ultrasonic wall thickness testing and EMI on Drill pipe according with API RP7G, NS-2 and DS-1 standards.

Inspection and Maintenance of Drill Stem Components including H.W.D.P, Drill Collars, Stabilizer, Subs, X-Over, Roller Reamer, Components of Hydra Drilling jars, Accelerators, Griffith Jars, Shock tools and Mud Motors according with DS-1, NS-2, API RP 7G and Customer Standards.

Inspection of Fishing and Milling Tools including Overshot, Tubing and Casing Spear, Taper Tap, Safety joint, Wash pipe, Components of Fishing jar, Accelerator, Bumper Sub, Packer milling tool and all type of Milling tools according with DS-1, NS-2, and Customer standards.

Inspection on Thru-Tubing components such as MHA, Hydraulic disconnects etc according with customer inspection standards

API QA Inspection on New and machined API Rotary Shouldered Connections according with API Spec 7, familiar with gauges and their standoff, Taper gauge, Lead Gauge, Vernier and Micrometer.

Inspection and Maintenance of Casing and Tubing including Visual Thread Inspection, EMI on Tubing, FLMPI on Casing, and Drifting.

Inspection on various Non API Premium connections VAM, Hydrill Wedge, FJWP, NKEL, NK3SB and Grant Predico’s HT, XT series connections etc.

Repairing and maintenance of Rotary Shouldered Connections including shoulder re-facing, minor thread repairs and apply copper coat on re-faced shoulder.

Inspection on various types Rig Components, Hoisting, Handling Tools and pressure equipments, Rig mast Inspection, Drilling Spools and Flanges, Manifolds, Chiksens and BOP according with relevant API standards

Pressure test witness and inspected of oilfield pressure equipments and wire line tools

Hardness test on drill stem components using with Brinell and Rockwell C Hardness scale.

Eddy current inspection on Rig mast and substructure.

Calibration and Maintenance of Inspection Equipments.

Good knowledge in various type computerized EMI units as Spectavision, Intraspect, New Tech’s Techscope, Digichart, Drilcolog and Wilson unit.

Thorough knowledge to make computerized inspection reports and prepare monthly invoice reports.

Conducting daily tool box talks about use and maintenance of the equipments and encourage co-workers to work safe
